Marketing & AI

Make marketing easier to run.

Most marketing teams have enough tools. What they lack is a system.

Tools get bought one at a time. Data gets split across platforms. Manual jobs quietly become somebody's full-time problem.

I connect and simplify the operation so the team spends more time on judgement and less time on work a machine should already be doing.

Where AI actually helps

  • Market, competitor and commercial signal monitoring
  • Customer and market research at greater depth and speed
  • Content and product marketing production
  • Lead generation, enrichment and qualification
  • Internal tools that give the team faster access to product and marketing knowledge

Where it doesn't

Anything that needs a point of view.

AI is very good at producing competent, forgettable work at speed. So is everyone else’s AI.

The advantage comes from what goes in: better intelligence, better customer understanding and a clearer point of view.

What I've built

At my last company I designed an AI-enabled marketing infrastructure covering market and competitor signals, research and commercial intelligence, content production and distribution, including an internal AI product marketer available across the business. It increased output while reducing operating cost.

I now build the same kind of infrastructure for clients, using today's tools rather than selling a fixed stack that will be out of date in six months.

Common questions

Do you implement the systems or just advise?

Both, depending on what the business needs. I can specify the work and oversee your team or partners delivering it, or work hands-on alongside them. What I will not do is recommend a stack and disappear before it works.

Which CRM and marketing platforms do you work with?

Most commonly HubSpot and Salesforce, along with the automation, enrichment and reporting tools around them. The principles matter more than the brand: clean data, defined ownership and a process the team will actually follow.

Is our customer data safe if we use AI?

Only if the rules are set deliberately. Part of the work is agreeing what data may be used, which tools are permitted, what must stay inside your own systems and how output is reviewed before publication.

Will AI replace part of our marketing team?

In my experience it changes what the team spends its time on rather than reducing headcount. The gain is usually depth and speed: more research, faster production and better reporting from the same people.

How quickly do we see a difference?

The simplification and automation stages tend to show results within weeks because they remove manual work immediately. AI use cases take longer to prove, because they need testing against a measurable outcome before they are trusted.

Use AI to improve the operation, not to decorate it.
