Brand Audit & Strategy

Brand is one of the most misunderstood ideas in B2B.

It is not just the logo, the website or what the marketing team says. It affects how the market sees the business, how much customers are prepared to pay, how credible you look against competitors and, ultimately, the value of the company itself.

The Brand Audit is for businesses that have grown, changed or moved into new markets and need to know whether the brand has kept up.

What we look at

We start with the business rather than the visuals: where the company is going, who it needs to win, what customers value, why deals are lost, how competitors are positioned and how consistently the company describes itself.

The work can include leadership interviews, internal and customer research, lost-deal conversations, competitor analysis and a workshop with the leadership team.

What you get

  • A clear view of where the brand stands today and where the gaps are
  • Positioning that reflects the business you are trying to build
  • A message hierarchy for the main audiences, markets and buyer groups
  • A competitive view of the category and the position you can credibly own
  • A 90-day plan setting out what should change first, what can wait and who owns it

This is not a rebrand for the sake of it

The audit may show that the visual brand needs work, but that is not the assumption going in. The point is to understand whether the brand is helping or holding back the business and then decide what actually needs to change.

How long it takes

The full Brand Audit is normally completed over six to eight weeks, depending on access to customers and lost deals.

Fee

£15,000 fixed fee for the full Brand Audit and strategy work.

What happens next

We start with a conversation about what has changed in the business and why you think the brand may no longer be doing its job. If the real problem sits somewhere else, I'll say so.
